Welcome to The Family Doctors
Dr. Tomecki has ~30 years of experience in the medical field.
We pride ourselves on providing personal, accessible, small office care for your entire family
(PEDS, ADOLESCENT, ADULT, GYN, GERIATRIC, etc).
Since this is a solo family medicine office,
you ALWAYS get to see Dr. Tomecki.
We take advantage of an Electronic Medical Record (EMR by GE Centricity) to increase quality, patient access, and efficiency of patient care. This includes electronic prescribing directly to your pharmacy (no more hard to read scribbled prescriptions).
We draw your blood for the lab tests right here in the office at the time of your visit (you don't have to go to a lab). Drink plenty of water, just don't eat the day of your visit.
We believe these aspects make us a unique small practice that is specialized in you and your family.
Appointments
We believe it is important to have access to your Doctor. To better serve our patients, The Family Doctors offers a modified open access schedule. We do schedule some appointments in advance, however, we attempt to see patients the same day.
You may schedule an appointment through the patient portal or by calling our office at (708) 387-7000. Please help us schedule an adequate amount of time by describing the reason for your visit as clearly as possible (including labs, vaccines, procedures, etc.).
Bring your photo ID and insurance card.
If you must cancel your appointment for any reason, please call at least 48 hours in advance to allow us to accommodate other patients.
Patient Portal 24/7 access
We utilize a secure patient portal to help improve communication between patients and the office, share information via attachments, view the analysis of lab results, schedule appointments, pay bills, etc.

Preventative Care
We offer a variety of preventative care services:
such as annual physical exams, immunizations, preventative screening, diet & exercise advice, health & nutrition, wellness, on site blood tests, etc.

We offer diagnostics and treatment for many acute symptoms such as ear infections, strep throat, influenza, colds, acute injuries (lacerations, sprains, strains...), etc.
